Audrey W. Parsons died March 16, 2008 at the age of 92.
Burial was in the Center Cemetery in Bernardston, MA.


Ethel O. Desoe died on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007 at the age of 90.
She was past president of the Parsons Family Association and served
on the board for many years.  When she graduated from Westfield in
2000 at age 83, with a Master of Education, she was the oldest
graduate in her class.

Faye Parsons Bragg died Nov. 7, 2007, in Webster, NY at the
age of 77.   She was active in the Parsons Family Association and
treasurer for many years.  She took on whatever task needed to be
done without hesitation.  

Katie Cecilia Bridges Parsons a life time member of the
Parsons Family Association died on January 3, 2008, in Webster ,
Texas at the age of 86 years.  She and her husband, Ward C. Parsons,
were both veterans of  W.W. II. Cecilia served as an Ensign in the
United States Navy Nurse Corp.  She was also a member of the
American Red Cross and Daughters of the American Revolution


Albert Opitz passed away at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
on Tuesday Jan. 23, 2007.

He enlisted in the Navy in 1942 and served with distinction, retiring
in 1965. He and Shirley served as Historians for the Association in
the 1980's.

Contributions may be made to the MOAA Scholarship Fund, 201 N.
Washington St., Alexandria, VA. 22314 or to PA Southwestern
Veterans Center Welfare Fund, 7060 Highland Rd., Pittsburgh, PA.
15206 and would be greatly appreciated by his family.




Marlene (Parsons) Conser  past away last year on July 7,
2006 at age 73.   She was active in the Parsons Association for many
years as Historian and most recently as Assistant Historian.  She will
be missed.   She always enjoyed coming to the reunions every year to
meet new and old (Parsons) family and friends.




Beverly Booth, a life member, passed away on September 24,
2006
