There is a 15-Star Flag at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington , Ma .
This flag was made sometime between 1795 and 1818 and would have been used to flly over a fort or on a ship. Sometime after it was taken out of action, the flag came into the possession of the Parsons family whose members lived in New Hampshire and Southern Maine. The National Heritage Museum obtained the flag from a descendant in 1995.
